The 232-strong list of capped players for the IPL 7 auction has grown to 244 after the organisers added 12 more names to it.
According to the new IPL rules, the strength of each squad has been cropped to 27, with a maximum of nine overseas players. That will force the franchises to look more closely at the uncapped players.
The players’ auction is scheduled to take place on Feb 12-13. The 12 names added to the list of capped
players are:
India: Varun Aaron, Hemang Badani, Laxmi Ratan Shukla, Aavishkar Salvi, VRV Singh

England: Simon Jones
South Africa: Farhaan Behardien, Henry Davids, Roelof van de Merwe, David Wiese
