It was very intriguing that the Inter-state gang of robbers involved in Sanpada Bank heist were arrested and the valuables were recovered in a high handed investigation and action. The robbers involved in this great bank robbery used Chinese made walkie-talkies to communicate, dug tunnels with modern equipment and had rented out nearby grocery shop to commit the greatest robbery in the banking history. The missing links of the Bank of Baroda tunnel burglary are falling in place with the arrest of 11 accused and some of them were serial offenders. They had the guts and plagiarised the idea from a similar theft in Punjab National Bank in Haryana. The feature of their digging tunnel is the use of multiple excavation devices to dig deep till the Bank’s strong room area. It was well planned and executed with a hammer machine, a driller, a grinder, screw driver, hacksaw blades and other vital instruments to reach out the place. It is indeed a bank well executed and the police trapped the robbers on war footing and show the country how efficient they are.
