Manchester United coach David Moyes, along with the club owners and board members, have decided to allow Bayern Munich go through the next round without referee even blowing the starting whistle. The decision comes after a two-hour long meeting after United officials informed UEFA and Bayern Munich that the Red Devils are in no position to face mighty Bayern and they want to avoid the gruelling clash over the next two legs.

Languishing seventh in the Premier League after a dismal first season under their new manager Moyes, United are underdogs in the CL quarter-finals and a far cry from the team that commanded respect around the world during Alex Ferguson’s days. So United board members have decided that they don’t want ‘The Wrong One’ to face more embarrassment on the field in the current season and they will allow Bayern to move into the semis.
