As Tamil Nadu political scene is not clear after the death of J. Jayalalithaa too many combinations are worked out to find an alternative under the leadership of Sasikala. As the ex-chief minister Panneerselvam failed to strike an understanding with his erstwhile colleagues the situation is becoming bad to worse in Tamil Nadu. In the meanwhile, the matinee idol Ranjnikant is trying to make a move to enter into politics. His earlier attempts to make foray into politics failed miserably and he is trying out yet another chance, when the political instability is felt in Tamil Nadu. Actor Rajinikanth’s speech to his supporters made statements hinting at a potential foray into politics, was largely welcomed by political leaders in the state. However, it also came in for criticism from an unlikely source the BJP, a party that expected the actor to be ideologically aligned to it. In the wake of political turmoil, BJP would like to take advantage as the main opposition DMK is tainted with corruption charges lost out the way in usurping power from the breakaway groups of AIADMK. Thus an alliance comprising O. Panneerselvam, Rajnikant and BJP is possible to upset the applecart and make sure that they win by-elections in the State and move forward to find a firm base and hit the right platform to establish a wise-like grip in the State.
