Tevar actor Arjun Kapoor is confident that his next film Ki and Ka will be received well by the audience as he feels that it has an interesting storyline.
Arjun expressed his views about the upcoming love story and said: “I’m very confident that people are going to like this film, because genuinely it has a very interesting premise.”
The movie, directed by R Balki, delves into the realm of gender equality.
Talking about working with the Paa director, the actor said: “I’m very happy to work with Balki sir. I’ve interacted with him many times. He has appreciated my work and I’ve appreciated his work. It feels good when an experienced director, who has achieved so much in advertisements and the film industry, chooses you to be a part of his film.”
Ki and Ka features Arjun opposite Kareena Kapoor Khan. The movie will also have a cameo by Amitabh Bachchan and Jaya Bachchan together. Arjun had tweeted a photograph with the celebrity duo some time ago and teased the junior Bachchan for working with Abhishek’s parents even before he could.
“It’s every actor’s dream to work with Amitabh Bachchan and Jaya ji. And in one film, my dream to work with both of them has got fulfilled. I feel lucky and happy to share screen space with them as very few actors get such an opportunity,” said Arjun.
Arjun also added: “What you strive for as an actor is to be able to work with good people and to get the chance to do something good with them. And I feel happy that with this film I got the opportunity to work with such talents”.
Ki and Ka is slated to release early next year.
