Amit Shah the right hand of BJP’s prime ministerial candidate Narendra Modi who had played a vital role in the saffron party’s success is likely to campaign for the party to boost its electoral prospects in the assembly election. After the BJP led NDA sweeped the Lok Sabha polls in Maharashtra it will seek the assistance of Amit Shah to campaign for the assembly elections which is five months away. Shiv Sena too is keen to approach Shah which will enable the party to win Gujarati votes in the city.

Shiv Sena South Mumbai newly elected Member of Parliament Arvind Sawant talking to AV said, “It will be good if Amit Shah provides valuable guidelines to party to fight the assembly election. If the BJP manages to win majority of seats in the upcoming assembly election under the leadership of Amit Shah that it will benefit us. He had played a important role in UP which enabled the BJP to win maximum seats in the state.”

BJP state president Devendra Fadnavis said, “We will seek the guidance of Amit Shah to repeat the feat achieved by BJP in UP in Maharashtra too. His expertise will enable us to win more seats in the state assembly election.”
According to Fadnavis, Maharastra BJP’ state unit and other allies will use the political acumen of Modi’s master strategist to wrest power from Congress-NCP in the Assembly elections.

A close source from Shiv Sena said, “Narendra Modi’s close aide Amit Shah campaigning in UP enabled the BJP to sweep polls in UP. His expertise will come handy in the assembly election scheduled to be held in Maharashtra.”
The assembly elections are expected to be held in Maharashtra in the month of September-October. The Mahayuti alliance has already started preparing for the election.

NDA had used Narendra Modi as its trump card in the Lok Sabha election which paved way for its massive victory. After an impressive show in the general election, the Mahayuti alliance is confident of winning the assembly elections too.
