Apparently, filmmaker Sanjay Leela Bhansali is trying a lot of permutations and combinations for the casting of Ranveer Singh starrer ‘Padmavati’. But, allegedly, all his plans have not quite worked out so far regarding his upcoming project. Now, it is being said that Pakistani heartthrob Fawad Khan might be seen romancing Deepika Padukone on-screen.
Reportedly, the 53-year-old director is most likely to cast the ‘Kapoor And Sons’ star as Deepika’s on-reel husband in ‘Padmavati’. According to a Bollywood Life report, originally attributed to DNA, a source said, “Bhansali wants 200 days from all his lead actors, including Ranveer (plays Alauddin Khilji) and Deepika (Padmavati). Fawad has those days to spare.”
“In between, he has Karan Johar’s production, but it should not be a problem as KJo and Bhansali share a good equation. So they will work it out. It’s too big an offer for Fawad to pass up,” it was further quoted as saying. A few days back, Fawad was also seen walking the ramp with the ‘Cocktail’ actress at India Couture Week.
