If you have the courage, then ban RSS

After six years of Mumbai 26/11 attacks, many questions continue to remain unanswered. There were statements by politicians like Digvijay Singh that 26/11 was a conspiracy hatched by the RSS, Mossad and CIA. This is one of the many points that Aziz Burney, group editor of Rashtriya Sahara (Urdu), also puts forth in his book, “RSS Ki Sazish, 26/11”. It was at the launch of this book on December 6, 2010 that Singh claimed he had talked to Hemant Karkare before he was killed, and that he appeared concerned about threats to his family from saffron activists. Since then, Congress was in power in both the places in centre as well as in Maharashtra. Congress has shown no efforts to catch the culprits or trace RSS string in terror attack. In those days, NCP-Congress were deliberately against Hindu organisations, Sharad Pawar was at the verge of banning many Hindu organisations, without any concrete proof or evidence of their terror activities. All Muslims are not terrorists, but all terrorists were Muslims. Perhaps, by now Congress must have realised that the appeasements and hate politics has already disowned them. Meanwhile, if RSS is proven to be a terror organisation then Congress could have banned them by now. It’s been 67 years that India has gained Independence and Congress ruled this country for the maximum period of time. What has prevented them to take action against the outfit?

Can they answer, what is wrong with RSS members? RSS is the ideology that they are following; what is the connection between their jobs and their ideologies? RSS is not a terror outfit; they are patriots and volunteers to protect the nation. Most of the time, RSS is engaged in doing social work. They are contributing their best for this nation, be it any manmade disaster or natural calamity. They have always rendered their helping hand in serving the people. BJP is their political wing, which is now ruling in centre. Give me any one proof against RSS and its terror activities. I know, you will give me only one example and that too of Nathuram Godse. Godse is often a misunderstood personality. He is referred to as a Hindu fanatic. It is often hard to understand Godse because the Government of India had suppressed information about him. His court statements, letters etc. were all banned from the public until recently. Judging from his writings, one thing becomes very clear – He was not a fanatic. His court statements are very well read out and indicate a calm and collected mental disposition. Godse had been working with the Hindu refugees fleeing from Pakistan. He had seen the horrible atrocities committed against them. Many women had lost their hands because ‘they’ cut it off, their noses were chopped; even minor girls had been raped mercilessly. Despite this, Godse did not harm even a single Muslim in India which he could easily have. So, it would be a grave mistake to call him a Hindu fanatic. He very well knew that he would be hanged and his name would be disgraced as Gandhi was considered as a saint. And again, Godse could have ran away and escaped punishment. However, he didn’t do that. He called a police officer and courted arrest. Before we proceed, it would be wise to understand the backdrop of the assassination.

There are many allegations against RSS, without any evidence or proof. Perhaps, frustrated secular parties and their supporters just expand their vocal chords and misguide people about the outfit. If Government really has any concrete evidence of RSS indulging in terror activities or anti-national activities, they should make those evidences public and have guts to ban it. Some secular writers and Congress went hell-bent on proving RSS’ hand in terror activities. Many RSS workers were arrested as alleged conspirator in the Samjhauta Express, Mecca Masjid and Ajmer Sharif Dargah blasts, they were nabbed and forced to go through all sorts of harassments, but even today, no one could prove any involvement of RSS or its members in these blasts. The Hindus are being attacked all over India. The majority community has been victimised on the pretext of checking communal violence and anti-national activities.

Digvijaya Singh, Mahesh Bhatt, Teesta Setelvad and several other secular personalities had raised the issue that Indian security forces need to look at this other face of terror as well. But even today, none of them could prove any allegations and concerns raised by them. Late Hemant Karkare, then ATS chief arrested Sadhvi Pragya Singh Thakur while investigating the 2008 Malegaon blasts, but even today Maharashtra ATS failed to file a chargesheet against her. Karkare died in 26/11 terror attacks, some even alleged that the terror attack was conspiracy between Hindu terrorists and Mossad. I dare all those secular forces, who are stigmatising RSS as a terror outfit, please provide one evidence against them and begin trial. Just name any one convicted member of RSS. Meanwhile, Congress and its allies always tried to divide the Hindu community with ulterior motive.

Being secular Hindu, I salute all those nationalists, who are guarding Hindustan and its Dharma. And equally respect other religions and its followers…
