Sanatan Sanstha activist Samir Gaikwad has been granted conditional bail in the CPI leader Comrade Govind Pansare’s murder case. Here the investigative agency stands exposed. The accused individual has been imprisoned for two years and still the investigating agencies are unable to collect and furnish conclusive proof of his involvement in the crime; raises a doubt. The second point is that the court has on numerous occasions pulled up the investigating agencies. These comments by the court have pointed a finger towards the fact that the investigation is misdirected. What is the use of such an investigation? It has been certified that a very sensitive case has been investigated in an irresponsible manner. And they have actually wasted two years of investigative agency’s time. There is a talk in town that this can be a case in point about how an investigation should not be conducted. Hence the nation must know how far has the investigation of this sensitive case actually happened.
