Mumbai University mess

It is part and parcel of Mumbai University to make a mess of things when it comes to announcing the examination results and it is happening every year as a ritual. During 1978, when I wrote my final BA (Eco) examination from the Mumbai University and our results were withheld for an unduly long period and after considerable delay it was found that some of the answer papers of that examination were found from the drainage passage. By the time the results were announced I got married and I could not plan anything for my future after that. Instead of getting first class marks, I could manage to get only second class marks in the goof up. I still repent for the Mumbai University mistake. Recent one is the delay in declaring results of 22000 re-evaluation papers and that is irritating the students applied for re-evaluation. Students need not lose hope as this is a known muddle this year and year after year. It is time for Mumbai University to make amends for all the lapses and set the house right earnest to reduce the stress on students in the years to come. Such undue delay and online glitches in announcing results does not augur well in the educational system now prevailing in India.
