Never said only RSS is the culprit, even Congress is responsible for 26/11 attacks- Aziz Burney

26-11-leadOn December 6, 2010 in Delhi, A book named “26/11: RSS ki Sazish” written by Aziz Burney was released by senior Congress leader Digvijaya Singh. The book talks about the hand of RSS and Hindutva element behind 26/11 Mumbai attacks. Later on, Digvijay Singh gave media statement that Karkare had called him two hours before the 26/11 attacks in Mumbai to say that his life “was blighted by constant threats” from those opposed to the ATS probe into the 2008 Malegaon blast in which Hindu extremists were accused. Thereafter till 2014, Congress and NCP was ruling in Maharashtra and Congress was in power at centre too, but so far no intelligence agency ever established Rashtriya Swayam Sevak Sangh’s involvement in 26/11 Mumbai attacks. When AV tried to contact Digvijaya Singh and controversial Congress leader Kripashankar Singh, both of them remained unavailable for comment.

Burney had compiled his articles into a book titled RSS ki Sazish: 26/11, where he had differed from the investigating agencies’ conclusion that no saffron terror activists were involved in 26/11. Burney time and again asserted that the circumstances in which some top police officers, including then ATS chief Hemant Karkare died, pointed to a possible involvement of some saffron elements in the 26/11 carnage. When contacted by Afternoon Voice, to ask whether he still stands by what he has written, Burney said, “I never said only RSS is the culprit in 26/11 attack, but its a collective effort and investigative authorities failed to conduct proper probe, even Congress is responsible.”

Days later, Singh then repeated the comments to The Indian Express, which sparked national outrage, with Karkare’s wife Kavita saying that he seemed to be playing politics with the death of her husband. Singh had subsequently sought to dilute his comments, saying that he had called Karkare and not the other way round and also that he never doubted Karkare was killed by LeT terrorists. He had even offered to produce records of his phone calls but said BSNL did not store records older than 12 months.

The BJP and the RSS are responsible for the 26/11 attack in Mumbai. The saffron party did not raise its voice against the delay in conducting probe. In particular, all the so called secular intellectuals hinted at RSS for their alleged involvement in 26/11 attacks but no one yet has drawn any conclusion, all these hints were based on assumptions, and everyone’s story revolved around the Malegaon blast. Burney also said Mossad and CIA had assisted the Sangh Parivar in the attack carried out in Mumbai. With the tacit understanding of the USA, Saudi Arabia’s Maulana Bedi had collected fundamentalists. Even then Gujarat Chief Minister Narendra Modi had helped in attackers’ arrival and stay. Post 1993, all attacks in the country is the result of the nexus between the RSS and Mossad. Karkare was about to make all these disclosures to the media and was going to leave the country to settle abroad. Karkare was not killed by AK-47 but by the service revolver of the police. RAW and Home Ministry is investigating the role played by the Gujarat ATS in Karkare’s murder case. Karkare was killed by Hindutva-minded police officials and people from the Chota Rajan gang.

After six years, when no evidence was found against RSS, their Social media supporters started demanding explanation by calling an outrage against the organisation.

RSS supporters criticised Digvijaya Singh and Aziz Burney on Twitter:

Anurag Dixit @bhootnath

The book launch of “26/11 RSS ki Sazish” by Digvijaya Singh was not just a political gimmick that he often resorts to. It was part of a broader plan to malign Hindu nationalist movement. Government should establish a probe in this matter and also expedite chargesheet on Sadhvi Pragya and Col Purohit. Truth should come out and come out fast.

Nayan Chandra @nayanchandra

Digvijaya Singh and author of the “26/11: RSS ki Sazish”, should be declared as anti nationals, they have made baseless allegations against the RSS. This is the most ridiculous and disturbing element in the INC he is the man who has always degraded his own party and moreover his own country, I can’t imagine that in our country there is no such law for any insane person who has no clue what he is speaking and yet no action is taken against him. By now Digvijaya should realise how the BJP has thwarted Congress’s minority appeasement policy by emerging victorious in the Lok Sabha election. BJP should conduct inquiry against the author and Digvijaya, what has inspired them to make allegations against RSS involvement in 26/11 attack.

Media Gaze @mediagaze

The facts about Karkare and the role of RSS connected terrorists are already in the public arena. Burney’s withdrawal or acceptance will hardly make any difference in people’s case against Saffron terrorism. The fact is Terrorism is prevalent everywhere. Terrorism has no religion and the person who links terrorism with religion is an ‘opportunistic pathogen’.

Jyestha Arya #HMG @KarmicSoil
Seculars and Congress will obviously malign the image of Hindus and Hindu groups. Congress is against Hindutva and it’s known to world. Attacking the RSS is their favourite agenda, were they proven guilty? Congress got in deep troubles and continues to remain clueless.
