Over a dispute with uncle and minister in Akhilesh Yadav’s Uttar Pradesh government Shivpal Yadav, breaking his silence CM Yadav said on Wednesday that the interference of “outsider” in family and party matters was unacceptable. Who is this ‘outsider’ according to CM Yadav is mysterious thing.
UP CM Akhilesh himself threw enough indications in this regard when he said, “Where have you found a family fight? This is a fight in government, not a family fight.”
Akhilesh further said, “If people from outside the family keep interfering how will things (government) work”.
UP CM’s remarks triggered speculation that he was hinting at outsider to ‘Chhote Bhaiyya’ Amar Singh.
Amar Singh, too, said on Wednesday that he was with both Shivpal and Akhilesh. Calling himself a staunch loyalist of ‘Netaji’, Singh said that he has not committed a crime by supporting both Akhilesh and Shivpal.
Amar Singh said, ‘Akhilesh Yadav is like a son to me and he did not take my name as an outsider.’ He said he won’t get provoked by the media poking.
“No matter how much you say that Akhilesh has said it, I am not agreeing to it. He has never said one word against me till now,” said the SP leader who joined back the party after a gap of 6 years in June this year.
So while the CM of Uttar Pradesh hints his disapproval at the ‘outsider’ element, Amar Singh with this clarification tried remaining his clean image. As after joining, Singh had said ‘I am member of undeclared ‘Margdarshak Mandal’ of SP. It will be active or dormant depending on our new leader Akhilesh. I have no reason to complain or sulk. I have played my innings. Now I will be cool, patient, dormant and non- competitive in my approach.’ Looks like he’s trying hard to stick to his words.
