Deaths due to medical negligence is a cruel act and several kids have died in UP hospital for lack of oxygen supply should act as an eye-opener which needs to be investigated by the top agencies. It is always the poor who are inflicted inhumanity in our country and we do not hear of the rich or well to do being dying for want of medical assistance. Public hospitals in our country are in such bad shape that they can even make a healthy person sick. Even the basic oxygen cylinders or medicines are missing and many small towns do not even have qualified doctors. Prime Minister Narendra Modi and UP Chief Minister Yogi Adityanath should personally look into the sad event and see to it that the guilty are punished. Medical facilities should be the birthright of every citizen and facilities at public hospitals should not only be improved but made affordable for all.
