It is notable that the expressway accident victims will get much needed fast treatment on the way itself. MSRDC would like to establish a trauma centre on the way to help out the cause of any emergency. The accident victims need not wait for a long time to get the timely treatment. Fatalities on expressway have increased and it is time to have an emergency service to attend to the accident victims without wasting time. The 94.5 km stretch is called killer road and the vehicles are prone to major accidents. The state health department had given its recommendations and it is up to the government to implement the strictures in the best way possible to do a world of good. It is the need of the hour.
