Rupert-MurdochRupert Murdoch, who was one of the closest pals of former UK Prime Minister Tony Blair, is supposedly furious with the politician after recent reports claimed that the News Corp tycoon’s former wife Wendi Deng had written a love note to “ex-lover” Blair.

Even though, a rep of the Labour Party member had previously insisted that Blair was not responsible for the breakdown of Murdoch and Deng’s marriage, Vanity Fair magazine has published a note that was supposedly written by Deng, the Daily Express reported.

Deng had written in the note that she missed Blair, who has been married to his wife Cherie for 33 years, because he was charming and had a good body.

She had also said in the note that she loved Blair’s piercing blue eyes and the power he executed on stage.

A former News Corp employee also told the magazine that Murdoch had heard rumours Deng was having affairs but that she “got careless” in her dealings with Blair as they would spend a day or night together in the presence of the staff.

Deng and Murdoch have also released a joint statement saying that given the complicated dynamics of their family they made the decision early on in the process not to engage in public allegations.
