Haryana Education Minister ruled out cancelling recognition of Ryan International School (Gurugram) having come into notoriety for brutal day-light murder of seven-year old Pradyuman Thakur because according to him it would affect the 1200 students presently studying in the school. If it is so, then Haryana Government should take over complete management of the school to develop it as a model government-school. It will also be a fitting punishment to school owners who are till now running schools in various parts of the country like education-shops. It is noteworthy that owner of the school has come with a statement after 2-3 days of the incident confessing gross irregularities in school-management. He should be interrogated for his statement of murder by someone else other than arrested accused Ashok. Responsibility should be fixed including political representatives and rulers having permitted and also overlooked liquor-shop near the school, license of which is now cancelled. Nothing can improve till concerned ones from political community are also punished for such serious lapses.
