Chief Minister Yogi Adityanath is finding out an escape route for the Gorakhpur Hospital tragedy by blaming the unhygienic conditions prevailing in the city. Gorakhpur is the constituency of the Chief Minister Yogi Adityanath and he should have foreseen all this before the tragedy. Now shirking responsibility is not a good sign of a Chief Minister of the biggest state in India. It is not an incident or an accident but in reality total callous attitude of the government and the hospital. We must take lessons from every such incident but so many deaths have created panic among the people. Swacch Bharat campaign ought to have been enforced and applied in the BJP governed state. Unhygienic conditions should have been given prime importance and the city could have been cleared of filth in the last three months instead of blaming the rampant spread of diseases. The health minister and the Chief Minister should have applied caution earlier and avoided so many deaths. It is a black mark on the state government and the chief minister ought to have resigned owning responsibility for the serious lapse for the blockage of oxygen all of sudden. It is a matter of shame for CM.
