Shame on UN High Commissioner for human rights

UN High Commissioner for human rights Zeid Ra’ad al-Hussein seems more to belong to Pakistan than to UN. He criticises the Indian government on alleged human rights violations vis-a-vis Rohingyas, murder of Gauri Lankesh and Cow vigilantism. None of them are his business. Does he talk about Pakistan’s sponsorship in terrorism? He freely indulges in criticising India’s stand on LGBT, Hindu nationalism, J&K, NGO financing etc like the opposition parties in the country. It is obvious from his demeanour that he is biased against our country and its policies on various issues. India has given him the right rebuff and rebuttals. He should better concentrate on terror spreading countries like Pakistan if at all the United Nations Human Rights Council (UNHRC) wants to do anything worthwhile. In so many countries in West Asia, Africa and Central Asia there is nothing called human rights. In our neighbouring countries also people are slaughtered because of their religious beliefs. Except in some African rogue countries, UN peace keeping force could not be deployed anywhere in the world. Former PM of India sent peace keeping forces in Sri Lanka to bring normalcy, which did return with a heavy price for India. It is very shameful for the commissioner to make such a statement.
