A candle night march was organised on the first anniversary of the collapse of a residential building in Sheel Phata area that had killed 74 people.
Hundreds of people assembled at the Lucky Compound, the location of the high-rise ‘Adarsh-B’ which had crumbled on April 4, 2013.
Locals led by former MLA and Shiv Sena leader Subash Bhoir paid floral tributes to the victims and lit lamps at the site.
Prayers were held by Muslims and Hindus to mark the occasion.
Various prominent citizens were present.
