Violence in Kashmir

Kashmir continued to be on the boil and it is a bad news for the Home Ministry. Despite curfew restrictions several police stations have also been set on fire and their weapons looted in Anantnag and other places within Kashmir. The violence has damaged more than 40 government offices and breakdown of communication and even police wireless devices are defunct in these attacks.  Policemen appeared to be facing the brunt of the attack and it is in precarious position. Complete shutdown is observed and normal life came to a standstill.  The entire valley remained shut with a string of police pickets and patrol trying to prevent stone pelting protesters to prevent from marching on the streets.  Wani’s killing has taken a high proportion of protest and the trouble continuing for the fourth day. Kashmir sizzles and the police force struggle to restore peace and normalcy.
