Soaring vegetable prices is a cause for worry for the people of Mumbai for some time. At times we faced increase in Onion or Potato or Tomato prices. But in the last couple of years, the prices of vegetables are on the increasing trend and the government has failed to control inflation. Taking advantage of the tricky situation, prices at city’s retail market goes on increasing pinching the pockets of the people. Government is trying to find an amicable solution to the problem. Thus a wait and watch approach will succeed the efforts of the government in due course of time.
