Perhaps Mig series of the fighter planes are still in operation by IAF although it had been named as ‘Flying Coffin.’ Twenty eight crashes had been recorded in the past five years. And after each and every such crash the declaration used to be made about an ‘enquiry’ and shockingly status quo does not change until next mishap takes place. It is advisable to remove all the present Mig series of planes from our IAF at once. Otherwise we will lose many more fighter pilots. Luckily in the latest Jodhpur crash there was no causalities. Fortunately the lightest and the best multipurpose fighter planes ‘Tejas’ have been inducted in IAF.
