A 23-year-old man was held on Thursday by Mumbai Crime Branch for allegedly threatening Bollywood actress Madhuri Dixit.
According to the police, the accused had sent four text messages to the actress threatening to kill her child if she did not pay a certain amount. In one of the text messages, the accused also mentioned that he worked for gangster Chota Rajan.
The accused has told the police that he got Madhuri’s number from a film magazine.
