The West Bengal police have recovered about 140 crude bombs in the Birbhum district of the state on Tuesday morning.

About 140 crude bombs were recovered from a village under Parui police station in the Birbhum district by the local cops.

The bombs were found to be hidden in a plastic container beside a canal in Palsa village by some local villagers.

At least two people have been reportedly arrested in connection with the recovery of crude bombs.

In December last year, about 70 crude bombs were recovered from Sattore in Birbhum district.

Though the local authorities are probing the matter, no link has been found between the recovered bomb and the Burdwan blast in October last year.
