Administrative Officers abhor ‘transparency’

Around 1856 Administrative Officers of India have not furnished information about their wealth to the government. The Government had given a directive this year that all the officers should provide information about their wealth till the end of January failing which they will be not be considered for promotion. It is a cause for suspicion when cognition is not taken in-spite of warning issued by the government. Providing the information that is sought is part of the procedure of administrative system. It is clear that the officers do not want transparency in the governance of the nation. What is the use of such government officers? Why should the nation support such white elephants? Raids should be conducted on the offices and residences of these officers and deposit the moneys collected in the Government treasury, and charges should be framed against them. They should be convicted and imprisoned.
