AirAsia India offers promotional fares starting at Rs. 600

AirAsia India, the latest entrant in domestic air space, has announced yet another round of fare-war. The Budget carrier is offering promotional fares starting at Rs. 600 on advance tickets.

You can avail this offer for travel between October 26, 2014 and October 24, 2015 for which the bookings should be made till August 31, 2014.

Fares from Bangalore to Chennai and Kochi starts at Rs. 600 while that from Bangalore to Goa starts at Rs. 900. Flights fares from Bangalore to Chandigarh and Jaipur routes start at Rs. 1,900.

AirAsia India, which is the domestic arm of Malaysian no-frills carrier AirAsia, had at the time of entering in the Indian aviation market, said that its fares will be 35 per cent cheaper compared to the segment players.

AirAsia India currently operates flights from its current base Bengaluru to Chennai, Kochi and Goa. It also plans to launch flight services from Bengaluru to Jaipur and Chandigarh. AirAsia India’s Jaipur and Chandigarh flight services are scheduled to start from September 5.

Meanwhile, Rolling out yet another limited- period special fares offer, no-frill carrier SpiceJet Monday announced discounts on one-way all-inclusive fares starting as low as Rs. 1,888.

The catch is you will have to book your flight by August 27 and travel between September 25 and January 15, an airline spokesperson said, adding the offer is applicable on all direct, via and onward flights on SpiceJet’s domestic network.
