Anshula Kant a Chief Financial Officer (CFO) to SBI

State Bank of India (SBI) announced the appointment of Anshula Kant as its Chief Financial Officer (CFO).

“Kant has been designated as the Deputy Managing Director and CFO of the bank”, SBI said in a filing on Bombay Stock Exchange (BSE).She joined SBI as a Probationary Officer in 1983 worked under various departments of the bank.

Prior to her appointment, P K Gupta was the CFO. Gupta moved to SBI Capital as Chief Executive Officer. Shares of SBI were trading at Rs 265 per unit, up 0.95 per cent on BSE during the afternoon trade.

Delhi government registered a growth of 2.64 per cent in 2014-15

According to Economic Survey of Delhi 2014-15 tabled in the Delhi Assembly on Thursday, the annual per capita income in the national capital increased from Rs 2.12 lakh in 2013-14. The national per capita income in 2014-15 stood at Rs. 87,748.

As per the survey, the Gross State Domestic Product (GSDP) at current prices during 2014-15 has increased to over Rs. 4.51 lakh crore, a growth of 15.35 per cent over the previous year.

At constant prices, the growth of the Gross State Domestic Product for 2014-15 is 8.2 per cent as compared to 7.4 per cent recorded at national level.

As per the survey, the fiscal deficit of Delhi government was Rs. 2,21.25crore in 2014-15, which is 0.049 per cent of GSDP, as compared to estimated fiscal deficit of 2.35 per cent of all states during the same year.

The expenditure incurred on social service sectors in Delhi increased from 48.79 per cent in 10th Five Year Plan to 57.12 per cent in the 11th Five Year Plan and 65.75 per cent for the first three years of the 12th Five Year Plan.

Tax collection of Delhi government registered a growth of 2.64 per cent in 2014-15 as compared to the growth of 10.60 per cent in 2013-14, it said.
