Arnold Schwarzenegger arrives in Chennai, meets CM J Jayalalithaa

The makers of the Tamil movie ‘I’ have created the right amount of hype by roping in legendary Hollywood star Arnold Schwarzenegger for its music album launch.

Arnie landed in Chennai on Monday morning amidst tight security, to attend the audio launch function of ‘I’ at the Jawaharlal Nehru Indoor Stadium.
The actor from the west is expected to share the dais with Tamil movie superstar Rajinikanth.

Soon after he landed in Chennai, Arnie met Tamil Nadu chief minister J Jayalalithaa at the state secretariat on Monday afternoon.

The meeting is said to have lasted for about twenty minutes before the actor left for the audio launch of `I`.

Reports suggest that the former California governor, was keen on meeting the Tamil Nadu CM and his team was quick to send a request to the Chief Minister’s office.

Soon after they meet, he posed for the shutter-bugs and left for the audio launch of `I`.

The event is going to be huge, and apart from the top notch celebrities in question here, other noted stars will also grace the event.

The highly anticipated audio of director Shankar’s much-awaited mega-budget film, , which stars Vikram and Amy Jackson in the lead roles, has been composed by Academy award-winning composer A.R. Rahman.

Rahman will perform all the songs from the album live. He will also be supported by dancers, who will perform wearing the actual costumes and make-up from the film. The show will go on for about two and a half hours, reports suggest.
