Continuing his tirade against the Bharatiya Janata Party-led government at the Centre, Delhi Chief Minister Arvind Kejriwal on Tuesday sought to know why Prime Minister Narendra Modi and Finance Minister Arun Jaitley were “afraid” of a probe into the affairs of Delhi and District Cricket Association (DDCA).

The Aam Aadmi Party (AAP) chief questioned the Centre on the CBI raid at his office saying that “We (AAP) cooperated with your raid; you also cooperate with the enquiry commission (set up by our government)”.

Earlier, the Delhi CM attacked the Prime Minister the CBI raid on his office saying that the entire exercise was done to erase proofs of alleged DDCA scam and save the senior BJP leader.

Jaitley has denied the corruption charges levelled against him by BJP MP Kirti Azad as well as the Congress and the AAP. Jaitley headed the DDCA for 13 years till 2013.

Azad, a Lok Sabha member from Bihar, on Sunday alleged massive corruption in the DDCA. He said he had done no wrong by raising an issue involving Jaitley.

The BJP on Wednesday suspended Azad, who has alleged large-scale corruption in Delhi’s cricket body when it was headed by Jaitley.

Azad has for years carried on a campaign against what he calls major corruption in the DDCA, which was headed by Jaitley for 13 years until 2013.
