The show, which went off air in 2010, featured America Ferrera as Betty Suarez, the lead character, with Jensen as Christina McKinney, a seamstress who worked at fashion magazine Mode alongside Betty.
“It was one of those programmes that really touched a lot of people and I think that a lot of people really feel a great deal of warmth from it, so I think there could be scope for an Ugly Betty movie, definitely,” Jensen told iTV This Morning.
Over the course of four seasons, ‘Ugly Betty’ won two Golden Globes and three Emmys.
