In an unfortunate incident that occurred in Gurgaon on Friday night, an assistant sub-inspector (ASI) was held for allegedly molesting a woman working in the clerical wing of police.
The incident happened after the woman asked him to stop loud music, that ASI Sukhpal was playing it in his car in Police Lines. He purportedly misbehaved with her and molested her, not only at the work place but also in the Civil Hospital the same day.
He was produced in a city court on Saturday and sent to judicial custody.
The infuriated woman called for help. Sukhpal, meanwhile, fled the place in his car. He was eventually caught and was taken to the Civil Hospital for a medical examination, where he abused and threatened other cops.
“The accused was working with the traffic wing. He was under the influence of alcohol when the incident happened. He was produced in a city court and has been sent to judicial custody,” the investigating officer said.

The incident happened last night in police Lines around 930pm when ASI Sukhpal was sitting in his car below quarter and playing Haryanvi music at high volume. When the woman was came down to stop him he was reportedly misbehaved with her and also molested her.
