Uddhav-ThackerayAs speculations rife about post-poll alliance between the BJP and the Shiv Sena in Maharashtra, Sena chief Uddhav Thackeray on Sunday said that he has not been approached by any party as of now.

While addressing a press conference, Thackeray said that neither the BJP nor any other party has approached him to form a coalition government in the state.

However, keeping all options open, Thackeray said that his party will consider any proposal to ensure stable government in Maharashtra.
“It’s is better to wait. What if I take the proposal and they say no?” said Thackeray.

When asked to comment on the possibility of BJP-NCP alliance, he said that its up to the BJP to decide if they want outside support or not. He further added that if the BJP is fine with the NCP then it can go ahead with the decision.

“I’m sitting peacefully at my place, so if anyone wants our support to form government they can approach us,” said he.

Earlier in the day, Shiv Sena leader Sanjay Raut had said that whatever happens, the next chief minister would be Uddhav Thackeray. He had further added that in politics, it is not correct to disclose all the cards instantly.
