At least 10 people were killed and 30 others were injured on Sunday in a bomb blast in Pakistan’s Federally Administered Tribal Areas region.
The incident took place in Saddar market of Parachinar city, Daily Pakistan quoted a police official as saying.
The injured were shifted to a nearby hospital where as many as seven people were in serious condition, the official said.
“At least 10 have died and more than 30 were injured,” said a senior police official who requested anonymity. Amjad Ali Khan, the political administrator of the Kurram district, confirmed the incident and the toll.
The toll was expected to rise further, the aid workers said.
