We East Indians (original Mumbaikars) are a talented lot and we have several East Indian Marathi music CDs and VCDs released in the market. But not a single East Indian Marathi programme is being aired on television. Even Konkani programmes for Goans are not telecast. Its high time television channels start telecasting East Indian Marathi and Konkani programmes for the sake of the East Indians and Goans of Mumbai. Even the East Indian Marathi language film ‘Tu Maza Jeev’, produced by Nelson Patel and directed by Ranjan Singh can also be broadcasted on television.
