The Anti-Terrorism Squad (ATS) has obtained a CCTV footage from the parking lot from where the police bike carrying explosives had been stolen. The July 10 Pune blast case had left 5 injured. Though it was a low intensity blast in the heart of the city, the terror angle has not been ruled out.
Ten teams of the Maharashtra Anti-Terrorism Squad were formed to investigate all the angles in the Pune blast case. The blast according to the sources seemed to be a part of a terrorist attack.
The impact of the blast and placement of the stolen motorbike suggested that the bomber may not have intended to inflict serious casualties. This new lead will help the police to follow up the case.
