A Jodhpur court has rejected Bollywood heavyweight Salman Khan’s plea for witness re-examination in the case against him under Arms Act in the 1998 blackbuck poaching case.

The actor had filed for re-examination of 5 witnesses in the case registered against him in the rare species shooting incident which took place while Sooraj Barjatya’s film ‘Hum Saath Saath Hai’ was being filmed.

Salman Khan pleaded “not guilty” before the court on April 29, 2015 at the Jodhpur court.

A case was registered against the actor by the forest officials under Arms Act on October 15, 1998, as the licenses of his weapons were found to have been expired.
