Head constable Satish Chandra posted at circle Tuglak road was on Monday arrested for allegedly being involved in a scuffle with a woman and subsequently attacking her with a brick.
The incident took place at Golf Links, when the lady was on the way to drop her kids to school.
A video has surfaced which shows a scuffle breaking out between the woman and Chandra. The mobile clip shows a woman hurling a stone at the policeman’s bike, while the errant cop is seen attacking back the woman with a brick. The video clip clearly shows the lady getting hit on her back.
Speaking to the media, Delhi Delhi Police Commissioner BS Bassi informed that the head constable has been suspended and an inquiry has been ordered. “A criminal case has also been registered in the case,” Bassi said.
