Akhilesh Yadav may be the Uttar Pradesh Chief Minister, but for his aunt who till date gives him pocket money, he is still a kid.
Born on July 1, 1973, Akhilesh Yadav turned 41 on Monday. He lost his mother Malti Devi at a very young age. Mulayam Singh’s brother Shivpal Yadav and his wife took care of him as their own son.
He studied from St. Mary School in Etawah. For higher secondary, he was sent to an Army school in Dhaulpur, Raajsthan. He then graduated in B. Tech from SJ College of Engineering and post graduated in Environmental engineering from Sydney University.
He came back to India after completing his studies, joined his father in politics and went on to become the Chief Minister of Uttar Pradesh. Even as he takes crucial decisions in the cabinet and is responsible for the functioning of the entire state, his aunt who raised him till date gives him pocket money as a mark of her motherly love for him.
