Recently, over 100 cell phones were recovered from the jail.
The escapees included three accused booked under MCOCA (Maharashtra Control of Organised Crime Act) and a convict of an arms case convict.
After in the incident, the State government had suspended the jail superintendent and three teams have been formed to recapture the prisoners.
Director General of Police (Anti-Corruption Bureau), Praveen Dixit, who earlier served here as Police Commissioner here, is heading a probe into the jail-break.
