In his lecture on ‘Finance and Opportunity’, Dr. Rajan said, “What we need in India is the financial inclusion of all in all sectors.”
“To achieve this, we need to concentrate on 5 Ps – product, place, price, protection and profitability,” Dr. Rajan explained to the audience in his hour long lecture.
The second ‘Independence Day Lecture’ was a huge success with the lecture of Dr. Raghuram Rajan Governor, Reserve Bank of India at The Roof Top at Trident Nariman Point.
In his address Mr. Anil Darker, organizer of the event and founder of Literature Live said, “Dr. Rajan illustrated through his lecture the reason why he is so highly regarded right from the moment he took over his office, and made everyone in the finance and industry got energized.” He also made our Q&A session so interesting and informative,” concluded Mr. Darker.
Mr. Jayanth Sinha, Member of Parliament was the moderator of the Q&A session.
Mr. Sajjan Jindal, Chairman, JSW welcomed Dr. Rajan for the lecture and Mr. Sanju Soni, Vice President and General Manager, Trident Nariman Point, proposed the vote of thanks, and expressed Trident’s willingness in participating philanthropic activities.
