North Indians have welcomed the aggressive stand taken by Maharashtra Navnirman Sena (MNS) asking Pakistan cine and tele-artists to leave India within 48 hours in the aftermath of Uri terror attack incident. MNS activists are known for assaulting people belonging to north India but this time they have appreciated the party for adopting zero-tolerance policy against Pakistan which has been promoting terror activities. Netizens took to twitter and posted that Pakistani artists should quit India immediately and government should stop bilateral ties with Pakistan.

Rahul Jha posted, “I agree with the 48 hours deadline issued by MNS to Pakistan artists. We shall also identify people who use social media to spill venom and disturb harmony.”

Abhishek Mishra said, “For this action we should support MNS. Pakistani Actor, Actress, Singer, Cricketer should be thrown out from India. We should stop all ties with them.”

Rishi Bagree tweeted, “Well normally, I don’t generally support MNS but the ideology followed by them against Pakistan is right. Pakistani artists and players must definitely leave India.”

Rohan Singh said, “I support MNS here. These Pakis earn millions here and pay taxes in Pak who further supports terror.”

Ashish Tripathi posted, “This statement should come from Indian Government and they should snap ties with Pakistan.”

Shyam Jha tweeted, “All the producers are to be blamed for importing #paki actors. Someone needed to take the call. Carry on #MNS. Where is #ShivSena?.

Amardeep Singh tweeted, “I think they should leave on their own if they value their self-respect. The Indian government should cancel their visas immediately.”

Amey KhopkarAmey Khopkar, MNS Chitrapat Sena chief said, “We gave a 48 hour deadline to Pakistani actors and artists to leave India or MNS will push them out. An anti-Pakistani wave is prevailing across India after the September 18 terror attack which claimed the lives of 18 Indian jawans.”

Khopkar threatened to assault Pakistani artists, including those who cast them in their productions. The same order is applicable to sportsmen as well he added.

shalini-thakrey-av“Actors like Mahira Khan (starring Shah Rukh Khan-starrer ‘Raees’) and “Ae Dil Hai Mushkil” star Fawad Khan are hijacking the opportunities of Indian artistes,” said Shalini Thackeray, General Secretary of MNS.

She said these two actors have been served the ultimatum to leave the country. In Karan Johar’s “Ae Dil Hai Mushkil”, which is slated to release next month, Fawad is in a supporting role Mahira plays the lead role opposite SRK in ‘Raees’

We have forwarded letters to Pakistani actors, whose country is allegedly sponsoring terrorism to stop their acting business here. “We would also issue letters to the producers on what grounds they are hiring the Pakistani actors, when there are ample number of actors here in the country and struggling to find an opportunity,” she added.

Shiv Sena MP Sanjay Raut said, “We are talking about banning them (Pakistanis) globally. Why we are continuing talks with them? Why are we indulging in diplomacy? As a nation, we should sever ties with Pakistan immediately.”

This is not the first instance when MNS and Shiv Sena had raised objections against Pakistani artists working in India. Earlier Shiv Sena had asked ghazal singer Ghulam Ali to cancel his performance in Mumbai.
