Formula One trio unveil new cars for 2015 season

Three teams unveiled their cars for the 2015 season race on Sunday. Williams and Mercedes unveiled their cars alongside their drivers in front of the press in Jerez. While, Red Bull gave the first look of their car and posted photos of a test drive by Daniel Ricciardo.

Williams’ new car named FW37 has come out in their classic white. The team that finished third in the team standings last season, presented the car with drivers Felipe Massa, Valtteri Bottas, Susie Wolff and Alex Lynn.

Williams Racing posted photo on social micro-blogging site, Twitter.

Meanwhile 2014 champions Mercedes also unveiled their new car on Sunday with Lewis Hamilton and Nico Rosberg taking out the wraps off the F1 W06 Hybrid in the Jerez pit lane.

According to reports, Mercedes’ car is expected to deliver mechanical, structural, aerodynamic and weight saving developments and is strengthened in these sections over its predecessor. Germany’s Rosberg will have the honour of driving the F1 W06 on Sunday at the start of the four-day Jerez session.

The car is known as the Sechsy Beast.

Last season’s runner-up team Red Bull also gave the first look of their car. Named as the RB11, Red Bull tested the car with Ricciardo.

They did away with their previous colour altogether after introducing a striking camouflaged livery ahead of the first Jerez test on Sunday morning.

The new livery has been designed especially for pre-season testing. Its white witch black imprints giving the car an altogether new look.
