Gandhis and Bachchan have shared a love and hatred relationship over the years but targeting megastar Amitabh Bachchan by the Congress over a show he is a part of in the capacity of an anchor which is his profession is nothing but a gimmick from the Congress men. Acting, modelling or conducting shows is Amitabh Bachchan’s profession which must be respected by all including the Gandhis and taking on the actor to settling personal grudges is cheap politics by people who are doing it. Amitabh Bachchan’s name does figure in the infamous ‘panama accounts’ for undisclosed assets abroad which the actor has denied. It is upto the investigating authorities to unearth the scam if any and the courts to punish him if found guilty. Bachchan is not guilty until proven otherwise and let’s not tarnish a celebrity who is a sitting duck only because he is famous. Rahul’s father and Sonia Gandhi’s late husband Rajiv Gandhi was a dear friend of Amitabh Bachchan who himself won a Parliamentary seat from UP for the Congress and some relationships should be respected irrespective of the differences!
