Travelling by bus, Auto, Train and Taxi all have become highly dangerous for women in Mumbai. Women commuters travelling alone in a cab during odd hours run the risk of molestation and rape in the commercial capital. There is no one stop safety for such acts by miscreants and it is time for women to have their own ways of preparing for the worst. Teenaged girls face more fierce attacks in the guise of making friendship and are attacked all of a sudden. In the bizarre case a 28 year old was molested by eight men in front of her husband shows the callous attitude of security in the city. Mumbai is facing the menace as more working women hail from this city and using public transport system has become a nightmare for the weaker sex. In the bus we come across the co-passengers trying to take advantage of the crowd, touch women and escape without punishment. Even staying with husband is also proving fatal nowadays.
