Rahul Yadav, CEO of Housing.com has resigned from the online real estate start-up.

Yadav was involved in bitter spat with Sequoia’s Shailendra Singh in March this year and was quoted in startup circles, where Yadav accused Singh of poaching staff.

In his resignation email, Yadav blamed the board members and investors for being intellectually incapable of having a sensible discussion.

The company’s board is scheduled to meet on Tuesday and reportedly has acknowledged Yadav’s resignation. The company’s investors have been on a CEO hunt for over a month now, according to media reports.

Housing.com shot to fame as one of India’s startup success stories after Japan’s SoftBank led an investment of $90 million (Rs. 550 crore) in December, valuing it at Rs. 1,500 crore.
