Two IIT Kharagpur students refused jobs from international companies to open a tiffin centre of their own to cater to the students taking IIT coaching classes in Kota.

Bikaner’s Pankaj and Achal, came up with the idea of starting this business as they faced several problems in managing food for themselves when they were taking coaching classes for IIT there. Two of the main issues they faced at that time were the quality of food and the timings at which it was delivered.

They thought of introducing their own tiffin centre which would eradicate these loopholes by taking into consideration students’ preferences, timings and budget so that the students do not face the problems they faced several years ago.

After laying down the basics, it didn’t take much time for them to implement as their tiffin centre kick-started in January this year and already boasts of 250 customers.

The ambitious students now want to open a chain if their tiffin centre across the country. For the same reason, they have refused job offers with hefty pay packages from international companies like Squire and Magma Fincorp.
