India based Creo launches Mark 1 smartphone, priced at Rs 19,999

CREO a India-based startup, rightly known as the company behind media streaming stick, Teewe. Well, the company just launched its Mark 1 smartphones for the Indian market at Rs. 19,999.

The highlight of the smartphone is its proprietary Fuel OS that’s based on Android 5.1.1 Lollipop, with which Creo seeks to deliver new features to users every month in the form of over-the-air updates. The Mark 1 will be exclusively available via online marketplace Flipkart from the end of the week, as well as via the company site.

The Mark 1 flaunts a 5.5-inch QHD (2560×1440 pixels) display with 534 ppi, and is powered by a 1.95GHz Mediatek Helio X10 true octa-core processor paired with 3GB of RAM. It also offers 32GB internal storage, which can be further expanded up to 128GB using a microSD card.

On the photography front, the Mark 1 is equipped with a 21-megapixel rear autofocus camera with PDAF and 4K video recording capabilities, while up front there is an 8-megapixel selfie camera with 86 degrees wide-angle lens and Beautify mode.

The Mark 1 also features a 3,100mAh battery, which the company claims is good enough to provide up to 21 hours of talktime. It also supports Fast Charging, and 10 minutes of charging can give you up to two hours of talktime. Connectivity options include dual-SIM card slots, 4G LTE support, Wi-Fi, Bluetooth and GPS. As mentioned above, the smartphone runs on Android-based Fuel OS.

At this price point, the CREO Mark 1 will face competition from the likes of the Lenovo Vibe X3, and the OnePlus 2 among others.
