Initial testing by Karnataka, Maharashtra FDAs say Maggi not unsafe

Maharashtra and Karnataka FDAs on Monday conducted tests on Nestlé’s Maggi noodles and no harmful levels of lead have been found, sources said.

Maharashtra FDA has sought re-verification of test results from Pune lab and the final results will be available in 48 hours.

Similarly, Karnataka FDA has seen no aberration. On the other hand the Delhi FDA is yet to receive Maggi test reports.
