Amid the row over JNU hosting a commemorative function for Parliament attack convict Afzal Guru, new posters have appeared on the varsity campus terming India as a “jail of different nationalities” and supporting Kashmir’s right to self-determination.
The posters refer to the February 9 event and subsequent arrest of three student leaders and JNUSU president Kanhaiya Kumar and said “unnecessary and unwanted slogans”, which were not supported by any ideology, were raised during the event.
The posters also condemn the death of Hyderabad Central University Dalit scholar Rohith.
