Kings XI Punjab co-owner Preity Zinta is ‘shocked’ by media reports according to which the Bollywood actress told the BCCI officials that players from her IPL franchise Kings XI Punjab were linked to ‘suspicious activity.’

In fact, the actress took to social micro-blogging site, Twitter, to clear the air by describing the media reports as ‘inaccurate’, extremely irresponsible and malicious.

As per the reports in the press, Zinta met with BCCI officials earlier this month to discuss her suspicions that some payers from KXIP, have been involved in throwing matches.

However, the 40-year-old actress accepted that she did meet BCCI officials but that the conversation was misreported.

“Shocked by this inaccurate & extremely irresponsible & malicious piece.” – Zinta tweeted.
